At heart, I am really a teacher and coach. I enjoy sharing what I've learned. Complex tax, estate, and financial planning issues are challenging and I enjoy translating the information into strategies my clients can understand and apply in their decision-making. I seek long-term relationships with my clients. The most important thing to me is my client's success, helping them to attain their financial and life goals. 

My Accomplishments

  • Graduated with a BS in Chemistry from Purdue and an MBA from University of Santa Clara
  • Established my own successful financial planning practice in   1986 after a background in technical support and marketing in several companies
  • Enjoy public speaking and teaching classes to CPA's, attorneys, financial planners and civic groups
  • Presented a paper in 1998 at the annual Financial Planning Conference which was a huge success 
  • My three children, Gary, Mark and Holly have become successful in their lives and careers
  • My 33-year marriage to Barbara, which unfortunately ended when she died of cancer

He is a leading expert in handling IRAs and 401(k) distributions, age 70½ required minimum distribution decisions and inheritance by the next generation.
